A canine behaviourist assesses and modifies unwanted behaviours in dogs, such as reactivity, anxiety, excessive barking, or aggression. I use science-based, force-free methods to help dogs and their owners build confidence and communication.
A dog trainer focuses on obedience and teaching commands, while a canine behaviourist works on underlying emotional and behavioural issues. If your dog is reactive, anxious, or has a complex behavioural problem, a behaviourist is the better choice.
Every dog is different. Some minor issues improve in a few weeks, while more complex behaviours (such as anxiety or reactivity) take months of consistent work.
I provide tailored plans to support long-term progress but if you'd like more information on what a timeline might look like for your dog, please do reach out to me directly.
